Hopefully you will have seen the great coverage our project received on BBC South Today news on Sunday evening. There was a slot at 6.30pm and 10.30pm and the PV panels looked resplendent in the bright sunshine!
This week we have more carpenters on site as work continues to remove some unnecessary supports from the 1933 section of the roof and the new reinforcement timbers are installed. As you will see from the photos, the upper level of scaffolding now resembles a chippies workshop. The photos below show the removal of the old timbers and replacement with the new ones.
Site Manager, Sam remains confident that the build is going according to his schedule and so far, things seem to be running smoothly.
